This is my story

I was born in a family of cooks but never felt like I deserved a spot in the kitchen because I wasn't 'good' enough. But in high school, I had no choice but to improve my cooking. I needed quick, healthy meals to keep up with school, my new passion for running, and my busy life. Then 2020 happened. For me, this meant tons of experimenting and learning in the kitchen! The high didn't last for long. My 1st semester of college was a huge struggle. I quickly realized dining hall food wasn't going to cut it, but at the same time cooking started to feel like a chore. That's when I started my Instagram as a way for me to find the fun in cooking again while sharing my love for simple, nutritious, and satisfying recipes. My hope was that if I could just help one person fuel their active lifestyle, it would all be worth it. Over 300,000 followers later all I can say is thank you.
